Community Involvement
Living in a small town, surrounded by small towns, it is all about community. Neighbors pitching in to help each other, celebrating each other’s successes and special moments and mourning together in loss. I like to align myself and volunteer my time with organizations that have similar core values that I can be proud to represent.
Rotary is a worldwide organization but has local clubs like the one I belong to that concentrates on projects and needs in our own back yard.
The Wildland Firefighter Foundation provides direct assistance to Wildland Firefighters and their families. As the wife of a retired Wildland Firefighter and bonus mother to four more, I have seen up close and personal the value of this organization.
BNI is my business community. It is a worldwide networking organization with local chapters. My chapter has enabled me to provide my clients, friends, and family with quality business referrals for everything from painting a room to investing for their future.
I am also involved in my local Chamber of Commerce, volunteer at our senior center, and stay informed and involved in local government.
I’d love it if you would join me in supporting these fantastic community-minded organizations.
